Neil has been playing bass for about 14 years. He has a degree in music performance from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. His experience and knowledge of music and the bass have led him to play in all genres of music, from classical and jazz to rock, funk, blues, and more. He has also been teaching upright and electric bass for about 6 years - from beginner technique to advanced chord theory and improv. Neil moved to Rochester New York in June of 2006 and has slowly been working his way into the local music scene.
